The Company was founded by Jack E. Spector. Mr. Spector is a graduate of the University of Maryland and received his CPA certification in 1979 while working for Grant Thornton, a worldwide accounting and consulting firm. Mr. Spector left Grant Thornton and co-founded a real estate development and management company. In 1995, the company became a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (“REIT”) trading on the NYSE. Jack’s duties included deal structuring, securing debt and equity and all financial activity of the company. In 2001, Mr. Spector founded another real estate company which he operated until 2010. After leaving the real estate industry, Mr. Spector has been using his extensive accounting, tax and business expertise for the benefit of his clients.
Mr. Spector is currently on the Board of the Montgomery County Police Foundation and is a member of several professional organizations.
